FACTORY Level 1-5
For the first 5 levels of the game, I had to use my Level Design to establish the atmosphere, but also to teach the players the mechanics .
For level 1-2 , the player will learn the controller with the level that will push the player to navigate in multiple directions.
At the end of level 2 , the player will learn the dash thanks to the turbines that he can pass only using this new skill
At level 3 the cinematics will allow him to learn that you can open the doors thanks to the pressure plates but also that an artificial intelligence will help him escape from this factory.
At level 4 , the player will have to face the Guard for the first time and learn all the behaviors they possess.
In level 5 the player will be able to learn to jump to reach higher water points.
The player will learn that to activate a pressure plate it will be necessary to place a container on it that he will be able to move thanks to a magnet.
BOSS LASER
The goal of this room is to activate the 3 pressure plates present in the level in order to deactivate the boss while avoiding the laser shot.
Zone 1 will present the first firing mode (automatic aiming), but also the protections against the laser by a cutscene.
In zones 2-4-6 , you will have to avoid the laser by moving the containers on the pressure plates to deactivate the robot.
In Area 3 , the Boss switches to its second firing mode , which is to fire at predefined locations.
The player will therefore have to pass bubbles by analyzing the shot pattern.
In Area 5 , the boss switches to its third firing mode , which is to fire continuously following a pattern.
The player will therefore have to use the hiding places to protect themselves from the laser in order to access to the last pressure plate.
FACTORY Level 6-8
After learning from the previous levels, the player will have to face 3 levels where the learnings will be put into practice to pass each challenge in each room.
At level 6 the objective will be to move the containers on the plates without being detected to access the rest of the game.
At level 7 , the player will find themselves platforming so they can master the controller.
He will also have to use the container in a different way to block the guard's vision.
At level 8 the player will use the container as a hiding place from the vision of the guard in order to get down.
