DOCUMENTATION

DOCUMENTATION

Having chosen Cold War as a game reference for my call of duty map I had to choose a place related to the theme

At the start of production, I started creating a map plan to have a base before entering the editor.

So I created a map typical of COD games with 3 main paths that join through buildings/tunnels

DESIGN

The first spawn point will be on a parking lot with the diner in front of the player, with inside  3 paths that will allow you to reach the 3 main axes of the map

For the main path there is a building in the middle that will create vertical gameplay but also allow you to reach the outer part of the map.
For more vertical gameplay, there is also a balcony accessible by 2 stairs both located near each spawn

The exterior of the map will have the continuation of the main building creating a close-up fight inside but also a vertical gameplay outside thanks to its roof. There will be a wide window at each end of this area that will allow you to control some of the outside area.

The second interior part will have a spinning car in the center creating a constant but predictable change in the layout of the room.

This part will be connected by a tunnel with 2 entrances to go directly to the center of the main road.

The second spawn point will be a large outdoor space with architecture that pushes players to fight from  distance.
